FriePDC was hired by the City of Wimberley to advise and manage the process for revising the zoning for the city to implement the comprehensive plan adopted by Wimberley in 2008. FriePDC performed the following tasks:
Complete an inventory of existing land use survey/map and improve the current zoning map; ·
Conduct four (4) workshops for the Planning & Zoning Commission to obtain input and discuss options for rezoning;
Complete, revise and finalize proposed zoning map based on workshops;
Add comprehensive plan planning area land use map layer; ·
Draft public notification and obtain certified municipal tax roll.
Attend public hearings for Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council regarding the proposed rezoning and revise maps based on public hearing comments
After zoning maps are adopted by City Council, FriePDC will revise the zoning ordinance.
